IT'S THE QUALITY THAT COUNTS

Floating Wooden Shelves
Quality Wood. Solid Wood.

What are Floating Shelves?

Floating shelves are an excellent storage solution and easy to install. Floating shelves can be added to a kitchen, bathroom, living room and office space.

Fitted to with solid walls, they can be used for a variety of purposes, from displaying pictures and ornaments to heavy-duty storage.

Floating Wooden Shelving considerations

Consideration should be made for the weight of the shelf, the items to be placed on the shelves and the type of wall to be fixed to. Concealed floating shelf supports can usually be fixed to solid brick and stone walls.

Installing floating shelves is a reasonably simple job, but it does require some preparation.

What do you want to fit your Floating Shelves?

Before choosing your floating shelves, consider where you want to place the shelf and, if fixing to a plasterboard / false wall, find your studs using a stud finder. Fixing holes can be placed as needed on your new bespoke shelves.

Depending on the type of shelf you choose, and the use for your solid wood shelves, you may also need separate shelving brackets.

Hidden shelving brackets support the shelf to the wall and carry a capacity of 35kg.  The shelves slide onto the floating shelf pins through the fixing holes on the rear of the shelf.

The floating shelf brackets provide the distinctive ‘floating’ look, as the shelf pins are invisible.

Our bespoke floating shelves are available in Oak, Walnut, Beech, Ash and Pine, and in a rustic or contemporary style with a range of colours to choose from.

Check the weight capacity and choose brackets that can support the items you want to place on the floating shelf.
